Prayer for the end of abortion
This is the antiphon line for the Church’s daytime prayer today 12/1/21 which happens to be on the day the supreme court is hearing arguments on a landmark abortion case: “This is the good news the prophets foretold: The Savior will be born of the Virgin Mary”. 20th Anniversary 9/11 Reflection
I like this picture I took today on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The flag flying at half mast that is just about (but not yet) fully enclosed by the chain fence makes me think of being in danger….the rising waters of the flood are up to our chins but has not yet covered us. We are still alive and we live for Jesus. We are fighting for the salvation of souls. We have to evangelize/preach the Gospel! In the background are the blue skies.  Help is on the way. Jesus will rescue us. We just have to battle in the meantime as He protects, encourages, and strengthens us. Let’s roll. God Bless You, Fr. John Kopson
