The Memorial of Saints Joachim and Anne, Parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is on July 26.
Not only is St. Anne the patroness of the Archdiocese of Detroit, but she is our parish’s special
saint. We are going to celebrate St. Anne and her prayers for our parish in a few ways.
Archbishop Edward Weisenburger has appointed Reverend Derik Peterman Full-Time Priest Support to the In Solidum team of priests who pastor St. Anne Parish, Warren; St. Faustina Parish, Warren; St. Louise de Marillac Parish, Warren; St. Mark Parish, Warren; and St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Parish, Center Line, which form the Communion of Saints Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2025.

Earlier this year, I wrote to you to share the appointment of Ms. Annette Lauria as our interim principal, tasked with leading our school while I undertook a thorough search for a new principal. As this search has taken place over the last few months, it became very clear that Ms. Lauria was excelling in her role and is the ideal fit for our community going forward.
